5 major types of laminates.
1) Personal Used Laminates
These laminates are mainly used in home decor, kitchen decor etc. These laminates come in standard size 0.6mm to 1mm according to use. it contains a different design that will beautify your space.
2) Commercial Used Laminates
These have higher strength and are more resistant to wear and tear. They include high-performance laminates which are fire retardant, antibacterial and chemical resistant for application in hospitals and other industries.
3) High-Pressure Laminates (HPL Sheets)
For HPL laminates all papers pass through in high pressure and heat to obtain strength. It is non-breakable in nature.
4) Low-Pressure Laminates (LPL Sheets)
Differing only in the pressure with which the laminate is applied on a substrate, HPL is usually used with plywood while LPL finds its use with MDF.
5) Inner Laminates
These flexible versions are thinner than regular laminates. They are used to wrap around tables, columns etc.
